I know online money making is not that too difficult but never thought that URL shortening can help you make money online easily.

Adjix is a service of shortening URLs as we already know a lot, but the particularity of the latter, it has a business model initially thought. When a linker shrinks a link we place a small ad at the top of the Web page.

People who shorten links, called linkers, can earn money when using Adjix. Adjix places an ad at the top of each page, when a link is shortened, without altering the original content.
Linkers earn $0.10/1000 unique link views (10 cents CPM per unique link impressions) and $0.20 for each valid, unique, click-through. Compare these earnings with most any other “link shrinker” - they don’t payout a penny.

Minimum payout is $25 and The service is not yet avilable for those residing outside US. It will be open for all when it moves from it’ Beta stage.

When programs run in Windows XP, they frequently use what are called DLLs (Dynamic-Link Libraries).
These contain shared programming instructions and other files like icons, graphics, sounds, etc. that different applications use in order to run. DLLs are stored in RAM whenever the applications load them; when you quit a program, XP is supposed to release the DLL from memory. But some DLLs can get stuck.

Here is the method to mend this up.

Step 1: You can force Windows XP to release DLLs by adding a Registry key.
Step 2: Select Start > Run >Enter regedit >Hit Ok
Step 3: This will open the Registry Editor and navigate to
My Computer -> HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> SOFTWARE -> Microsoft -> Windows -> CurrentVersion -> Explorer.
Step 4: Right click on EXPLORER in the Left Pane, Select New > Key.
Step 5: Name it as AlwaysUnloadDLL and set the default value to 1.
Step 6: Restart Windows to activate the change.

Windows uses 20% of your bandwidth! Get it back

A nice little tweak for XP. M*crosoft reserve 20% of your available bandwidth for their own purposes (suspect for updates and interrogating your machine etc..)

Here's how to get it back:

Click Start-->Run-->type "gpedit.msc" without the "

This opens the group policy editor. Then go to:

Local Computer Policy-->Computer Configuration-->Administrative Templates-->Network-->QOS Packet Scheduler-->Limit Reservable Bandwidth

Double click on Limit Reservable bandwidth. It will say it is not configured, but the truth is under the 'Explain' tab :

"By default, the Packet Scheduler limits the system to 20 percent of the bandwidth of a connection, but you can use this setting to override the default."

So the trick is to ENABLE reservable bandwidth, then set it to ZERO. This will allow the system to reserve nothing, rather than the default 20%.

Some of these are genuine but one or two websites with bad intention can fill up you inbox with news letters, offers, schemes or anything that you don’t want. But in order to take advantage of that service, we have no other option to subscribe them via email. so, to get rid off, Here’s a solution :

We can create an email account on Filzmail.com which will be valid only for 24 hours. It will be automatically disposed off after that. During that time you can receive mail and SUBSCRIBE to a feed to receive alerts by RSS new email. You may argue that creating another email account on services like yahoo or gmail will solve purpose but they want you to fill up a long form with your personal information. On other side, Filzmail creates account on a single click without filling up any personal data.

Time limit can be extended by 24 hours to more 24 hours.

Phishing is the most difficult item to trace, and the most complex.

It is a two part procedure:

1) A site is hacked and a 'phishing' page set up...it is supposed to look identical to a Bank, or PayPal, or a credit card institution's main page.

2) Another site (typically on another server) is again exploited, this time for spamming purposes.

The spam will typically direct you to the phishing page, where the victims type in their information, and are kicked out.

From there it's a matter of cleaning out bank accounts and getting the money where it can't be taken back.

The hard part is there are dozens of phishing central sites and the phishing/spamming sites are blocked or filtered when users report such links found phishing.

A phishing link will usually try to direct you to a fraudulent website that mimics the appearance of a popular website or company. The spoof website will request your personal information, such as credit card number, Social Security number, or account password.
You think you are giving information to a trusted company when, in fact, you are supplying it to an online criminal.


Deceptive URLs.

Be cautious. Some fraudsters will insert a fake browser address bar over the real one, making it appear that you’re on a legitimate website


Make sure there is a secure lock icon in the status bar at the bottom of the browser window. Many fake sites will put this icon inside the window to deceive you.


What You Can Do

1) Pass this info through emails and chat services
2) Post on every Blog/Bulletin board the sites that are hacked so they get taken care of.
3) Post HERE what you find.
4) Report it to Anti-Phishing Working Group

Curious and fun tool which we are presenting today. This is PhotoFunia, a Web tool with which we apply many different effects to your images.

To that end, uses a face detection technology, which is more focused on photographs of portraits, and who meet certain conditions so that the effects are well implemented. These conditions are that the face is straight on, without anything to the tape, and if possible with a fund that is a neutral color. As an example, tells us that a typical picture of the card would be ideal.

If you are creating a document and you want to insert symbols, then how will you write it? Many of may say using Insert menu and then symbols. But, you will have to search for that symbol and then do it. This trick is however not possible in Notepad files.
