This time it is Shahrukh Khan is stoking up the flames and adding fuel to his much-written ‘cold war’ with Amitabh Bachchan. Just a few weeks after the Big B posted graphs of low TRP ratings of SRK’s television shows on his blog, the latter has found a way to revert back.
We all know that the Bachchans (Big B, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai) are set to kick-start a global musical tour called ‘The Unforgettables’ in Toronto on July 18. Now, SRK has sprung a surprise and got a headstart with the Moranis’ show ‘Temptations Reloaded’ that begins on June 21 in Amsterdam.
To be helmed by the King Khan, the show includes star attractions like Katrina Kaif Kareena Kapoor Arjun Rampal.The tour will begin in Amsterdam and, after gauging the audience response, would move to cities in the US and EU.
The Bachchans’ tour, on the other hand, begins in Toronto and moves to cities in the USA and the UK. Besides the Bachchans, the tour will have stars like Preity Zinta,MAdhuri Dixit,Akshay Kumar and Retiesh Deshmukh.
Reports say SRK is leaving no stone unturned to promote ‘Temptations Reloaded’. The superstar is believed to have already shot a promotional teaser of the show.
The Big B-SRK cold war – Is it for Real?
Though neither of them has acknowledged that they are at loggerheads, it is hard to believe there is no friction between them. By some strange coincidence SRK always finds some ‘genuine’ reason every year to skip IIFA awards, of which Big B is the brand ambassador.
And was it not a Freudian slip on Big B’s part when he posted on his blog the charts showing low TRPs of SRK’s shows and even quoted a channel executive as calling SRK’s latest show “Paanchvi Fail”.
For one reason or another the two stars have kept rattling each other like two swords in one scabbard.
