Bachchans’ 'The Unforgettables' tour to go green

Besides naach gaana and all that jazz, the Bachchans-helmed tour will address environmental issues.
And that burning issue is that of global warming – a slow, insidious process that would prove devastating for Earth in the long run.
Aware of the seriousness of global warming, the organizers of ‘The Unforgettables’, Wizcraft, and the Bachchans unanimously agreed to endorse the cause of global warming in their tour.
As a result of this, steps have been taken to ensure minimum possible usage of electricity on the stage during shows and to use eco-friendly equipment and to avoid unnecessary extravagance like chartered flights.
In fact, Amitabh BAchchan has already promised this year’s Nobel peace prize laureate Dr. R K Pachauri that he would be part of campaigns to create awareness about global warming. Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai have also volunteered for the same.
‘The Unforgettables’ tour kickstarts on July 18 in Toronto. The show will travel to other cities in Canada, USA and the UK. Besides the Bachchans, the show will feature Bollywood stars like Akshay Kumar,Preity Zinta,Ritesh Deshmukh and MAdhuri dixit!!!
